For nearly 15 years, Andreas Adelhofer has been production manager and sound engineer for violinist Nigel Kennedy. On a recent UK tour of about 40 shows, he relied on microphones that stay neutral and clean from the quietest passage to the loudest peak, on everything from piano to double bass.
